Adam Schiff Participates in Events Commemorating Armenian Genocide

Burbank, CA – This week, Congressman Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) will attend several events to commemorate the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and call for an end to the current blockade of the Lachin Corridor.

Schiff’s district is home to the largest Armenian-American diaspora communities in the United States, and he has long been a staunch advocate on their behalf. Schiff was the first member of Congress to call for the official recognition of Artsakh’s independence and was the lead sponsor of the congressional resolution officially recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
